World Cup Cricket In Bangladesh

Cricket is very enjoyable outdoor game.though it is not our national game.it has become popular in our country.world cup cricket is one of the greatest show on earth.the first world cup cricket was held in England in 1975.it is held once in every four year.this year(2011) the 10th world cup cricket has been held.we are lucky enough to be one of the host countries to arrange the world cup cricket.the other host countries are India & Srilanka.though cricket is the national game of the english,in Bangladesh it has earned much popularity.

Bangladesh won the ICC trophy in 1997 & got chance to play in world cup cricket tournament in great Britain in 1999.Bangladesh showed outstanding performance in the world cup tournaments by defeating the giant countries.Bangladesh also got the prestige of being a test playing country.
World cup cricket is always interesting.as Bangladesh has become one of the host countries for the first time,it has become a great joy,enthusiasm & aspiration for the people of Bangladesh.before the fixed date,the two venues of Bangladesh were completely prepared.the two mega cities namely Dhaka & Chittagong were beautifully decorated.this year 14 countries took part in the world cup cricket.they were divided into two groups.the inaugural ceremony was held in Bangladesh on the 17th February 2011 at 6pm in the Babgabandhu Stadium,Dhaka.to be the spectators of this program,people had to collect tickets from the City Bank & Agrani Bank through much hardship.the large & long awaited lines before the banks prove that people of Bangladesh are cricket emotional.no other opening ceremony of the world cup cricket was so spectacular as it.Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh,Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the program.on that ceremony the customs & traditions of Bangladesh were highlighted.the 14 captains entered into the filed by three wheels cars named Rickshaw.singers & artist of Bangladesh & other host countries performed their best to entertain the audience.the Indian singer named Mahadevan Shanker sang the theme song of the 10th world cup cricket.the Canadian singer Bryan Adams also impressed the audience most.

The 10th world cup ended through 49 matches.of them,8 matches where held in Bangladesh.the final match was held on the 2nd April 2011 in India between India & Srilanka.India won the match become the world cup champion 2011.being a host country,Bangladesh has earned praise from the ICC & the world community.through patience,hospitality & providing security,the gov.of Bangladesh has earned much fame.undoubtedly,it is a great achievement for Bangladesh.............................             

Computer

Science has discovered many wonders & computer is one of them.it is an ultra modern electronic device for storing & analyzing information fed into it.it has no capacity to do anything by itself.it works on the basis of commands given by the operator.

Computer was not invented over night.first of all pascal invented the theory of ''digital calculating system'' in 1642.though his attempts were not crowned with success,he initiated the research which paved the way to the invention of computer.finally Mr.Haward Akin,an American scientist invented such a machine in 1937 that could do difficult sums.so the credit for the invention of modern computer goes to Haward Akin.after 7 years electric computer was used in Harvard University in 1944.after that many other computers have been invented such as EDSAC in 1945 & ENTANCE in 1946 etc.a computer consists of 5 major components.they are the input unit,the output unit,the memory unit,the control unit & the arithmetic unit.a computer performs three functions:1.it receive data,2.it process data,3.it emits data.every computer has a machine language of its own & accordingly a computer functions.machine language is not fixed.it varies from machine to machine.programmers written in machine languages are machine dependent & they are only good for that particular machine.computer has great use to us.it renders great service to mankind.it is like Aladdin's magic lamp or magic wand.it has lessened our work loads & made our life easy & comfortable.it is used in our daily life for various purpose.
(1)In education:Computer is a media of education in the developed countries.the students of developed countries use computer to prepare their study materials.they learn many things within the shortest possible time.results of various examinations are prepared accurately with the help of computer within the shortest span of time.
(2)In medical science:Nowadays in developed countries computer is used to diagnose a disease.a newer process of operation has been invented by computer as an alternative of surgery.it is used to grind stones in normal pathological tests.
(3)In commerce:Nowadays business,commerce & trade can not be thought of without computer.it does wonder.it is used to prepare documents,to make lists of goods,store information & to prepare budget etc.Management personnel use computer to take decision.the value of currency & price of any share can be known instantly by the computer.
(4)In agriculture:Today computer is used in the field of agriculture in the developed countries.a farmer of America simply puts on the switch of the computer & gets everything done.
(5)In printing:Today printing can not be thought of without computer.it is an indispensable part of printing.thousands of books are composed with the help of computer within a very short time.
(6)In industrial sector:In the developed countries computer is used to run mills,factories & industries.trains & planes are run by the computer.
(7)Source of income:Computer is a source of great income.many developed countries & advanced countries export software & hardware & earn a lot.
There is no unmixed blessings on earth.everything has its dark sides.computer has its own demerits.it causes diseases like Respitutive Stress injury & weakness the eye sight of the operators.of late computer has been introduce in Bangladesh.many government & non-government offices,educational institutions are using computer.a course on computer gas been introduced in secondary & higher secondary levels.the day is not far to come when computers will be used in every sphere of life

Computer is great use to us.we can not go a single moment without computers.it is a part & parcel in our daily life...................................................................................................................................           

Television

The history of human civilization tells the advancement & achievement of science.with the passage of time man has invented & discovered newer & newer wonders of science & Television is one of them.it is a wonderful device for sending pictures to distant places.the word 'television' comes from the latin word 'tele' & 'vision' means to see.so the word television means seeing from distance.we can see the happenings of the different parts of the world through it.

Television is the most modern means of communicating ideas & thoughts.we hear speeches of the world famous personalities.it serves much more than a radio.it is like a stage where performers are seen & heard.it gives us news on national & international matters.television is a source of recreation.after days hard work we sit before a television set & hear music & songs.we enjoy drama,dance & many other things.we see the actors & actress.television has a great educative value.it teaches the illiterate & the students.it is used to remove illiteracy.we hear & enjoy debates lectures on various important topics,discussion on science & speeches through television.it has broken the wall between the literate & the illiterate.nowadays people need not go to stadium to enjoy a game.they sit before a television set & enjoy football,cricket,tennis & other games & sports.television has made the world small.it has conquered time & distance.people need not spend huge money to go abroad.we get familiar with the customs & traditions,fashions & dresses & culture of the people of different parts of the world through the television.it conveys social,political,economic,culture & religious news of home & abroad.television has come demerits also.sometime students prefer enjoying television to study.young boys are fond of sitting before television in place of playing in the field.thus it hinders the growth of the young generation.sometimes obscene films & almost naked dances are shown in the television which are very much harmful.

Television is an important medium of mass communication.it plays an important role in our day to day life.so television programs should be carefully produced.................................................................

Everybody loves flowers.a flower is a thing of beauty.a thing of beauty is joy for ever.Bangladesh is a darling child of nature.she has decorated her darling child with her various.flowers are one of them.Bangladesh is a land of flowers & beauty.flowers lend smell,beauty,charm & colour to the land.various kind of flowers bloom all the year round.

there are different kinds of flowers.they differ in size,shape,colour & smell.some are red,some are yellow,some are green,some are white,some are pink & some are multicolored.some flowers are seasonal & some grow all the year round.some flowers are scented & some are scentless.the Rose is the best of all flowers.it is called the queen of flowers.it grows everywhere in all seasons.people like the flower for it sweet scent & beauty.Spring is the king of seasons.colourful flowers bloom in this season.Krish chura,Palash & Shimul are spring flowers.they are red in colour & grow everywhere in Bangladesh.the Champa is also a spring time flower.it is golden in colour.the Sheoli is the queen of Autumn.it grows everywhere in Bangladesh.it is small in size.it is white in colour & looks very charming.Marigold is the flower of winter.it is of various colours,shapes & sizes.it is yellow & golden colour & looks beautiful.some flowers of bloom in water.the lotus & the lily grow in watery places.they look very beautiful.Shapla is our national flower.it grows everywhere in plenty.it is wite pink.Klmi also grow in watery places.the Jui,Beli,Kamini are the white flowers.the Sun flower blooms in the rainy season.the Karabi,Chameli,Dalia,Jasmine & many other flowers grow in Bangladesh.we love flowers for their beauty & scent.they are symbols of beauty & purity.we use flowers as a token of love,respect & gratitude.we use flowers on happy ceremonies,occasions & festivals.we decorate our drawing room with flowers.the bride chamber is beautifully decorated with flowers.we recieve our guests,dignitaries with garlands & bouquets of flowers.we get honey from flowers.we get rose water & otto from the rose.

Flowers are the most beautiful objects of nature.they have made our country beautiful.so we should take care of flowers................................................................................ 

Rivers of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a land of rivers.the health,wealth,happiness of Bangladesh depend on her rivers.there are many big & small rivers.the Padma,the Jamuna,the Meghna are the big & wide riversthe Buriganga,the Sitalakshya,the Dhaleswari,the Teesta,the Madhumati,the Gumati & the Karnafuli are small rivers.most of the rivers of our country rise from the Himalayas & fall into the Bay of Bengal.

the rivers are the source of our wealth.Bangladesh is an agricultural country.the prosperity of agriculture depends of the rivers.these rivers have made the soil fertile.so rice,jute,tea & other crops grow in plenty here.our rivers abound with fish.fish is an important wealth.our fishermen catch a huge quantity of fish & export to foreign countries.thus they earn a lot of foreign exchange.fish is our main item of food.the rivers of our country are the main ways of communication.boats,launches & steamers move on these rivers in all seasons.men & goods are carried from one town to another,from one part to another.all these are possible only river communication.most of cities,towns,industries,hats,bazaars,trade-centers are on the bank of rivers.the products of mills,factories & industries are easily carried to different places through rivers.raw materials from far & near can be carried easily to our industries.thus our rivers help in commerce,trade & industry.some of our rivers are source of energy.this energy helps our industries.some of the rivers are used to produce electricity.Goalpara & Karnafuli hydro electric projects are used to solve electricity problem.the rivers have a great influence on the people of our country.we love the rivers,its water & music.the rivers have made us emotional & sentimental.much of our joys & happiness depend on rivers.the rivers have influenced many of our writers & poets.many rivers have found expression in the writings of Rabindranath Tagore,Kazi Nazrul Islam,Michael Modhusudhan & Jasimuddin.some of the Bengali novels have been named after our rivers:Padma Nadir Manjhi & Padma promatha.our artists & painters like Jainul Abedin have been much influenced by our rivers.Shari,Bhatiali & Murshidi are the expressions of our village peoples love for rivers.sometimes the rivers causes great damage to our life & property.in the rainy season the rivers overflow their banks & causes flood.people suffer untold sufferings.

in spite of the little harm,the river are useful to us in many ways.they are source of our wealth,health & happiness..................................................................   

Fruits of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a darling child of nature.she has made her child rich with various fruits.our soil is very fertile.so many kinds of fruits grow in different seasons  all over country.the fruits are not only tasteful & delicious but also rich in food value.every house in Bangladesh grows various kinds of fruits.

Fruits are of different kinds,colours,sizes & taste.some are big & some are small,some are taste sweet,some are taste sour.some are solid & some are juicy.Mango is the king of fruits in Bangladesh.it is the fruits of summer season.there are many varieties Mangoes.they are Langra,Fazli,Gopalbhog,Mohonbhog etc.these mangoes are famous for taste,flavor & sweetness.Fazli is also famous for its size & sweet taste.mangoes grow in plenty in Rajshai,Dinajpur & Bogora.the Jack fruit is the biggest fruit in our country.it is also a summer fruit.it is delicious & taste fruit.it is green in colour but inside is yellow.it has a rough & prickly skin.inside the skin the fruits found to be composed of many flakes.each of the flake contains a stone.Jack fruit grows in plenty hilly areas of Chittagong & Sylhet & in the high land of Dhaka,Narsingdi,Mymensingh,& Comilla.it is our National fruit.Banana is another popular fruit in our country.it grows in plenty throughout the whole year in all parts of our country.there are many kind of Bananas such as the Champa,the Sabri,the Amritsagar.Amritsagar of the Dhaka & Sabri of Maymensingh are the best.Banana is delicious & nutritious.the green plaintain is eaten as vegetables.Banana has high demanded throughout the year.the Coconut is another delicious fruit.it is a common fruit.it grows everywhere in Bangladesh but in plenty in the district of Khulna,Barisal & Patuakhali.its sweet & cold water quenches our thirst in hot summer.its kernel is a tasty food.the Pineapple is another good fruit.it is a fruit of rainy season.it grows in plenty in Sylhet.it is full of sweet juice.the Lichi is an another good fruit.it grows everywhere in Bangladesh but plenty in Rajshahi.it is very small.it is very sweet.the Lichies of Rajshahi are most famous.children are fond of Lichies.the Orange is another good fruit in Bangladesh.it is juicy & tasteful.the Orange is good for liver.it grows in everywhere in Bangladesh.the Palm is also a well known fruit in Bangladesh.among other fruits Black-berries,Dates,Plums,Melons & Guava are very well known.they are also good fruits.children are fond of black berries.the watery juice of Melons is cool & refreshing.Guavas contain sufficient amount of vitamins.there are some fruits that taste sour.they are called sour fruits.the Tamarind,the Kamranga & the Lemon are sour fruits.fruits are useful in many ways.the fruits are not only sweet,delicious & also nutritious.fruits meet up our demand for different vitamins.many families in Bangladesh grow various kinds of fruits,sell them in the market & earn a lot of money.some fruits are also export to foreign countries to earn money.besides,various kinds of tonic,syrups,jams & jellies are made from the juice of fruits.seasoned prickle is also made from fruits.

Fruits grow in plenty in Bangladesh but many fruits are rotten for want of proper care & processing systems.we should grow more fruits so that we can earn a lot of foreign exchange by exporting them.fruit culture & fruit taking can ensure our national health.so our government should come forward to take proper steps of processing system & encourage people to grow more fruits.....................................       

Birds of Bangladesh

Our dear Bangladesh is a beautiful country.it is a land of forests & trees,hills & vales,rivers & canals.wide open meadows.it has got a moderate climate neither too hot nor too cold.so this land is a happy above of different kinds of birds.birds have increase the beauty of our country.we sleep at night & rise early in the morning hearing the sweet song of different birds.
there are different types of bird in our country.they are different in colour,size,& habit.they eat different kinds of food.some birds eat food & flesh,some live on warms & insects,some on fruits & grains,some on filth & garbages.birds are migratory birds & tailor birds.crow & kites are teasing birds.the crow is a very common bird in Bangladesh.it is a very clever.it steals away the food & other small things from our kitchen & from the hands of the little babies.it looks ugly.yet it is useful.it feeds on dead animals & dirty things.it has a harsh voice.the kite also steals away chicken,fish & pieces of flesh.there are many song birds in Bangladesh.the Cuckoo is the most popular of all song birds.it comes to our country at the beginning of spring.small boys & girls try to imitate a cuckoo when it sings.it hides itself behind leaves.the Shyma,the Doyal,the koel & the Baukathakou,the Nightingle are well known song birds.Doyel is our national bird.the Parrot,the Mayna,the Chandana,the Cuckoo & the Martin are called talking birds.people name them for their sweet voice & they can talk like human beings if they are trained.there are many game birds in our country.they are famous for their tasty flesh.the Partridge,the Dove,the Pigon,the Snipe,the Bittern,the Heron,the Teal & the Pankauri are most well known game birds.the are some fish eating birds that live besides the watery places.they eat small fish.the Crane,the Heron & the Kingfisher are fish eating birds.there are some birds of prey in our country.they the Vulture & the Hawk.they mainly live on fish & flesh.these birds have keen eyes & sharp nail.they swoop down upon their prey.the Vulture eats upon dead animals.there are some birds that build their nests with great skills.we wonder at their work.they are called tailor birds.the Swallow,The Tuntuni,& the Babui are tailor birds.there are some birds that come out at night.they are called night-birds.the Owl & the Bat are of this kind.these birds do not come out in broad daylight.it is harmless.the Bat feeds on fruits.it flies at night.many birds came form foreign land in our country during autumn & winter.they are also famous for their flesh.they increase the natural beauty of our country for the time being.there are many other common birds which we find here & there.we do not know the name of many birds.the Pigeon,the Hen,the Cock & the Duck are domestic birds.they provide us with flesh & eggs.many families in our country make poultry farm & earn a lot of money.
Birds are our natural wealth.they are helpful & useful to us in many ways.they do many good to us.birds eat many dirty things & keep the environment clean.therefore,we should not kill birds at random & we should take proper care of them.......................................................

Since the dawn of civilization man has a close relation with nature.man has made friendship with nature.nature help us many ways.similarly trees are closely related with our life.they are our friends.trees play an important role in our life & economy.
Bangladesh is a lower riparian country.upper levels are the best suitable places to plant trees.sea beaches 7 low-lying unused lands can be used for tree plantation.there are many roads & highways in our country.we can plant trees on the both sides of these roads 7 highways.again in the village there are many proper places which can be used for tree plantation.the sides & areas that are laying unused can be used too.June July are the best time for tree plantation.tree plantation program should be expanded to the remote corner of the country.the officers connected with the program should take proper steps & needful measures to make it a success.they should try to make it popular all over country.they should come forward with their best knowledge.most of the people of our village are illiterate they have no knowledge about the importance of trees.attempt should be made to make them aware of the importance of trees.trees are our best friends.they are a great source of food & vitamins.there are various kinds of fruit trees.they give us various kind of fruits which are rich in food value & vitamins.they meet up our local demands.they also meet up our vitamin deficiency.as a result people can keep their body fit & sound by taking fruits.again we export fruits to many other countries & earn a lot of foreign exchange.trees are our constant companies in our day to day day life.we use them for various purpose.we can not thing of our homes,houses,residence etc. without trees.we use trees to make furniture,windows,doors for our domestic use.again valuable furniture is made from these trees.we sell some pieces of valuable furniture to foreign countries.thus trees add beauty to our dwelling places.trees bear a great impact on the climate.if we destroy trees at random,one day the country will turn into a great desert.the country will bear the consequences of green house effect.again there will be no rain as a result the country will face a great crisis because ours is an agricultural country 7 our economy is dependent on agriculture.again our agriculture is dependent on rain.so trees play a vital role on our climate.trees keep the soil strong.trees save us from flood & many other natural calamities.
It is needless to speak the importance of trees.it is not possible to describe the importance & uses of trees in words.they are part & parcel in our day ti day life.we can not think of our existence without them.Rabindranath says "back the forest,take your town."we should not use 7 destroy trees at random.rather we should plant trees more 7 for a better happier & healthier life................................

But now its developing rapidly as people are looking for new land in Dhaka, Dhaka is extending. People who came here when there were no high rage building, very few shops, lack of living suitability, are chatting with each other and told the new people that it seems to be a great area in Dhaka city. People here are very good and hospitable. There are no lot of people, cars, richshaws which make disgusting the other place in Dhaka.
